True to its name, it smells of incense but I also think the lavender "lightens" it and makes it a little more flowery and feminine. This is one scent that I swear I can sometimes smell in the room hours after I put it out. Like other reviewers, I wish the spiral aspect of the candle lasted a little longer, but overall it has a long burn time and I'm content to just let it be a normal candle. The thick center wick is nice too. Can't wait to light up the other ones!
